My capstone project for my degree involved a solo project that I took on where I used real pets that I've owned or family/friends owned as well. Taking these pets and creating simplified designs for them and then creating some 3D models that were then 3D printed and hand painted by myself. I wanted to do something a little bit different compared to my peer's projects of mostly games and animations and flex other things that we'd learned. 3D printing hadn't been touched much by our program yet, and I felt it was extremely applicable to what we had learned so far. It also gave me the opportunity to learn how to use a resin printer and create with it as well.
These designs overall focused on simple, charming and appealing looks for them, keeping them simpler for learning 3D printing.
